I'm a retired elementary physical education teacher. I fix things, make things from wood and I garden.
I also judge/announce at Highland Games. I threw professionally for 30 years in the games, holding the world record in the 16 pound sheaf 3 times and co-holder once.
We live on 5 acres in the southeastern United States near Atlanta GA. We have 2 horses that our grandchildren ride. I also raise goats as pets and chickens for eggs. I have about 60 years of gardening experience.
During the pandemic shut down I found bird watching a very good stress reliever. I enjoy making birdhouses and bird feeders to attract different birds to my backyard feeders.

Nugget had a setback with the infection returning. Another vet visit. If it doesn't clear up this week we are looking at surgery. Please pray that is heals soon. Hot in Texas, first week we had lows in the 60's here in Georgia. Lots of bees and butterflies in the garden. Saw the first monarch of the year. #family #garden #nature

Not a lot going on. Ground is still to hot to plant lettuce and carrots for the fall/winter garden. Just trying to maintain the few things that are left and keeping ahead of the weeds which is a losing battle most of the time. We really need rain. #garden #gardening #gardenliving

Could I just use a pvc pipe without the shroud/baffle? Given the smooth surface of pvc, if the circumference of the pvc is large enough squirrels and raccoons shouldn't be able to grip/climb, no?
I think so. I have a couple now without the baffles. A few days ago a viewer suggested Loews dyer venting. It would be lighter and probably cheaper. Only a few comments down, check it out.

What else beside vinegar can you use to kill weeds . The vinegar did not work.
@@lorisutherland7728 this year I’ve only used 30% vinegar. Not diluted. It has killed everything I have put it on. I get it at Lowe’s or Home Depot

As you said in a past video, we should have put the trap in the neighbors yard.lol. Yes we are doing fine. I try to get the busted bags of dirt or stones at Lowes also. Have a good day.

Hello, sorry for such a ab comment. As usual been really busy. Nice video. A little update on my plants. My late spring plant haul is doing great. If you remember, I got my wife a rose bush for our anniversary. The Japanese beetle was playing havoc on it. Thanks to neem oil, we were able to save it. It has really been blooming. Have a good day!
